William Kirtley, the principal of Aceris Law, is an American and French national, admitted to the New York and Washington, D.C., bars and a former member of the Paris Bar, with significant experience in ICC arbitrations, both as counsel and arbitrator. He studied at Harvard, Columbia and the Sorbonne, and has worked in the field of international arbitration over the past fifteen years at the highest level at the leading corporate firms, establishing an excellent track record in the process. Dr. Marie-Camille Pitton is an internationally-educated French arbitration special counsel at Aceris Law, registered as an attorney in New York and registered at the Versailles Bar with over a decade of experience in international arbitration. She was formerly Counsel at the ICC in Paris and studied law at Harvard and Oxford.

Our lawyers also represented a client in another ICC dispute between a French biotechnology company and a US company, acted as counsel in a commercial ICC arbitration for a Pakistani client and a major French company an arbitration regarding the construction of a luxury housing project in Romania, served as counsel for ICC arbitrations in the logistics, telecommunications, engineering and aviation industries, provided representation in an ICC commercial arbitration over a joint-venture for the construction of a gas turbine between French, Swedish and British companies, represented a South African client in an ICC arbitration regarding agency fees, represented an Austrian client in an ICC arbitration involving a construction project in West Africa and represented a Ghanaian client in an ICC arbitration under Liberian law, inter alia.
