Aceris Law’s Harvard, Oxford and Sorbonne trained lawyers are admitted to bars of Western Europe, Eastern Europe and North America and have significant prior experience dealing with commercial, construction and investment treaty arbitrations under the ICC, ICDR, ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA, SCC, SIAC, VIAC and other arbitration rules, many of which have concerned New York. We are experts in international arbitration: this is all that we do, which allows us to offer far more cost-competitive fees than other firms for high-quality international arbitration legal representation.

We have permanent access to offices in New York to meet and work with clients, although our home office is in Geneva, Switzerland, we have access to offices in 120 jurisdictions, and we are always accessible to clients, regardless of their location, by videoconference.

Our New York Arbitration Lawyers Desk has access to all American jurisprudence and doctrine, while speaking Spanish, English, French, German, Russian and Arabic.

We maintain ties to the best appellate lawyers, who are involved depending on the specific needs of a given arbitration. This ensures that our clients obtain the best arbitration legal representation while also maintaining cost-effectiveness for arbitrations involving the United States.

William Kirtley, the founder of Aceris Law, is an American and French national, admitted to the New York and Washington, D.C. bars and a former member of the Paris Bar. Dr. Marie-Camille Pitton is an internationally-educated French arbitration special counsel at Aceris Law, registered as an attorney in New York and registered at the Versailles Bar with over a decade of experience in international arbitration. She was formerly Counsel at the ICC in Paris.

We have significant prior experience with arbitrations involving New York and other U.S. States. Aceris Law also acted as counsel in ad hoc arbitrations against European subsidiaries of a company from North America concerning a joint-venture agreement. We have also provided advice for ad hoc arbitrations under New York law with their seat in New York. Our arbitration lawyers also provided pre-arbitration legal advice for American investors in a dispute under the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA). We have also served in commercial ICDR arbitrations in the aviation, IT and high-tech industries and have served in JAMS arbitrations under New York and other laws. We have also provided legal advice on investment disputes involving the United States and have acted as counsel in mediation followed by arbitration under the ICC rules regarding an intellectual property dispute, inter alia.
